Single Tank Welding Machine

The Single Tank Welding Machine developed by Ayaz Makina is an automatic tank welding system designed to provide high precision, safety, and efficiency in the welding of large storage tanks and cylindrical structures. Operating with submerged arc welding technology, this system offers fast, reliable, and sustainable production advantages, especially in horizontal circumferential welding applications.

Thanks to its suspended-type structure, the system can move directly on the tank surface and can be operated safely by a single operator. The machine delivers high performance in welding plates between 1000 mm and 3000 mm and is capable of welding both the inner and outer surfaces of tanks.

The system is designed for submerged arc welding operations in side position (3 o’clock direction). Equipped with ESAB A2S + PEK + LAF1001 submerged arc welding equipment, the machine ensures stable and high-quality welding performance. The inverter speed control system allows precise welding speed adjustment between 0-600 mm/min.

The machine is available in both single and double configurations. In double systems, simultaneous welding operations can be performed on both the inner and outer surfaces of the tank. The system can operate on tanks with a minimum diameter of 4.5 meters and provides efficient welding performance on steel plates starting from 6 mm thickness.

The flame-retardant protective covering protects the operator from environmental conditions while ensuring safe operation. In addition, the integrated 125–250 kg hoist system provides easy access to welding consumables and equipment.

The torch connection mechanism is supported by a spring-loaded swing system that absorbs surface irregularities during welding, ensuring smoother and more stable welding quality. Hydraulic jack systems are also integrated to adjust support pressure and machine height according to working conditions.

Equipped with an integrated preheating torch system, the Single Tank Welding Machine moves steadily and safely on the workpiece thanks to its driven and idle wheel mechanism.
